PLAY SAFE Avion Thurmond, Times Reporter
Have you ever been hurt while playing? Clark was playing soccer when somebody kicked the ball and he got hit. Clark was riding his bike once and went over a lump of dirt and his bike flipped over and he got a scar. Many kids get hurt while playing.
Remember to be careful and stay safe! Remember to help others and stay healthy!
Publisher’s Comment: Now that is common sense. But we know that too often common sense is really uncommon. How often we read about and hear about people many times Avion’s age that fail to heed the advice “be careful and stay safe!” Our CONGRATULATIONS to Avion and a big THANK YOU to Avion’s mother Crystal Thurmond and his grandmother Patricia Thurmond for instilling that “common sense” into him. We also took note that in a very short story, Avion’s article:
Asked a question
Gave an example
Stated a conclusion
