With Christmas fast approaching, thoughts turn to entertaining, and feeding hungry
family members, friends and other guests.  Many of us are challenged because of
limited time, and especially attempting to create desserts that will leave a favorable
and lasting impression.  Fear not, Cakes by Arlene comes to the rescue.  We can
personally bear witness to the taste, appearance and value of Cakes by Arlene.  
Below is a partial list of possibilities, and we suggest ordering early to secure a spot

All candies are homemade and sold by the half pound.  All candies are $6.50, and
they include a wide variety such as Pecan Turtles, Pecan Clusters, Cashew Turtles,
Cashew Clusters, Chocolate Truffles, Pecan Pralines, Peanut Butter Cups, Black
walnut Clusters, Cherry Cordials, Peanut Clusters, Peanut Turtles, Raisin Clusters,
Chocolate covered toffee, Almond Clusters and Chocolate Pretzels.  Homemade
Fudge selections include Walnut, Plain and Peanut butter.

The wide variety of Cakes include Pound Cakes $20, Special Cakes $25, Fruit
Filled Cakes $30, Cassata $35 (1/2 sheet), Birthday Cakes (¼ Sheet $15, ½ Sheet
$22, Full Sheet $32), Breads/Coffee Cakes $15, Baked Cheesecakes $25.  Then
there are Cinnamon Rolls (1dozen)$12, Homemade Yeast Rolls (1 dozen) $6,
Cobblers $15.

The selection of Pies ($10) include Sweet Potato, Apple, Lemon Meringue. Then
there are Cookies including Chocolate Chip, Lemon, Triple chip, Peanut Butter,
Sugar, Butter Pecan, Butter, Chocolate chip w-nuts, Pecan Tansies, Oatmeal
Raisin.
