Recognizing a Star Student

Kitiana Corrin Jackson, granddaughter of
Thelma Chevannes resides in Norcross,
Georgia.  She is currently a fifth grader at
Peachtree Elementary.  Kitiana has participated
in several programs at her school.  They
include French, Spanish, Computer, African
Dance, Chorus, Peer Leader, News-on-Nine,
Principal’s Honor Roll Member, and Junior Girl
Scout.

Recently Kitiana was invited into the
International Baccalaureate Middle Years
Programme upon entering the Sixth Grade at
Pinckneyville Middle School.  The IBMYP is an
interdisciplinary curriculum that includes foreign
language, English, Mathematics, Humanities,
Science, the Arts, Technology, and Physical
Education, and provides academic rigor while
emphasizing life skills and social responsibility
through community service.

We are very proud of this young lady and look
forward to future excellence and achievement.  
Congratulations Kitiana, a job well done!
