"Where there is no vision, the people perish" - Proverbs 29:18

In mid-October Dianne and I had occasion to travel to
Hickory, North Carolina where I spoke in behalf of
Catawba County School Board Candidate Sherbia Jones.
A longtime community activist, Sherbia is seeking to
have the community
"rekindle our founding principles to
be proactive, progressive and productive. We must renew
our interest in higher education."

During the Sunday afternoon event, Sherbia sought
input and discussed her ideas with audience members
and
The Hickory Daily Record, and local newspaper.
